Academic Rep Facilitator - Voice & Advocacy
The Role
The Academic Rep Facilitator role supports the delivery of the Academic Rep system, working with students to deliver a better experience of education at Sheffield. The role will work with students, staff, and the University to support our delivery of a student-led system grounded in the principles of community organising.
This role is 16 hours per week in term time, with at half of the time spent in the office. It’s suitable for anyone interested in education, advocacy, and making change!
Key duties in this role include:
- Understand and Empower Academic Representatives.
- Build relationships in the Academic Rep system from Academic reps to University staff.
- Provide systems support for change

Contract Type: Flexible (zero-hour)
Salary: £12.71 Hourly Rate (plus holiday pay)
Specific Hours: Flexible
(up to 16 hours per week) Must be able to work 50% of the time from the Students' Union building.
