The Role - Entertainments Coordinator (Promotions)

The UK’s number 1 students’ union is looking for an Entertainments Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the SUs longest running club night Pop Tarts, Bar One Events and the social media content for Foundry Student Club Night Events.

In this role, you will take full ownership of social media content creation and event promotion as well as the end-to-end management of your own events. This will include event theming and planning, budget management, duty management and post event reconciliation and reporting.

You will be joining the team responsible for all events at Sheffield SU and Foundry, including Live Gigs, Roar, Pop Tarts, Grapefruit, and many other well-known nightclub brands. Your role will primarily focus on commercial club nights and student focused events.

The successful candidate will be experienced in creating and editing content and keeping up with social media trends, across multiple platforms including Tik Tok and Instagram. You will be an outgoing, creative, well-organised and driven individual with a working knowledge of student events.
