Sheffield Students Union is recruiting for a part time Finance Officer to join the Finance team. This role will provide support across the Finance function providing the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of financial activity including all transactional elements of accounts.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Sales and purchase ledger processing, ensuring invoices are dealt with in a timely manner using our new accounting system Aqilla
• Invoice processing
• Weekly payment runs, monitoring of bank balances and reconciliations
• Credit control including liaising with customers to resolve issues
• Reconciliation of supplier statements including liaising with suppliers to resolve issues
• Support the Finance Team in the month end process

This is a part time role working 21 hours over either 3 or 4 days to be agreed with the successful candidate.

Salary: Grade B - Starting salary £26,009
