The Role

As a Data and Research Coordinator at Sheffield Students’ Union you will be involved with all aspects of our research projects, from methodology to conducting the research and analysing the results. 

We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of research methods and the ability to apply this to create interesting and effective research projects. You will be passionate about research and the impact this can have on the organisation. As the role also involves analysing research data, you will need to have a good knowledge of data analytical programmes and a keen attention to detail. 

Starting shortly before the commencement of our annual all student survey the successful applicant is expected to be involved with the final stage of survey design and work alongside our marketing team to promote the survey and ensure a suitable student response rate. 

As a member of the data and research team you will be able to take the lead on smaller research projects including working with other members of staff to establish the purpose of the research, deciding on the appropriate methodology, and analysing the results.

Salary: £18,369 - £21,610 per year

Hours: 35 Hours Per Week all year (requests for part time work will be considered)
