The Role

The Sheffield Students Union operates a Women's Safety Bus that runs 7 nights a week during term time. The safety bus drives female students from outside the Students' Union building after our various club nights and delivers them directly home. We are looking for a trustworthy, confident, disciplined, friendly and enthusiastic person to join the Security team. This is a dual role that also includes providing a quality evening security presence at our clubs, bars, functions and concerts when not driving the safety bus. 

Successful candidates will hold a current valid UK D1 minibus driving licence (or equivalent) and ideally have experience working as minibus (or equivalent vehicle) driver.

Salary: £15,969 (based on working hours £7,460 pro rata) 

Hours: 22 hours per week, working 33 weeks (term time) per year

Interviews: 5th or 6th September 2019

Start Date: If SIA training is required 9th September 2019, no SIA training required 16th September 2019
