About the role

This exciting flex staff role provides the chance to work directly with students and stakeholders from postgraduate research programmes, supporting them to build strong communities and make real change on campus and in the city.

Specifically you will:

• Build relationships with PGR Reps, increasing trust, visibility, and engagement with the SU through consistent presence and meaningful interaction 

• Identify gaps in current SU provision for PGRs to design, test, and implement new initiatives and opportunities that better reflect their academic and professional priorities

• Gather and share regular insight into PGR needs and experiences, ensuring SU work is informed by a clear and evolving understanding of how to effectively engage this group.

You’ll work directly with students and other stakeholders, and have the support of a number of staff teams across the organisation to deliver your project.

Contract Type: Fixed Term/Flexible (zero-hour)

(This is a fixed-term position that is contingent upon your continued enrolment as a student at the University of Sheffield. Employment will automatically cease upon your graduation or if you withdraw from your course of study.)

Salary: £12.71 (plus holiday pay)

Specific Hours: Flexible
