The Role
Our Shop is your Students' Union's very own local supermarket, stocking a whole range of food and drink, stationery and more, within Our Shop, we also have Our Zero Waste Shop offering a wide range of food and household products without the wasteful packaging, and Our Express - offering quick grab-and-go lunchtime hot food.
We have a great range of offers, such as our popular breakfast and lunchtime meal deals. What's more, every penny made here in Our Shop goes straight back into the Students' Union, helping to improve the services that your SU offers.
Working in our retail outlets is a varied role, encompassing everything from processing deliveries, stocking shelves, serving customers, preparing hot food, filling up zero waste dispensers, cleaning, stocktaking and much more besides - you’ll certainly never be bored!
You’ll join a large staff team, based primarily in Our Shop at the Students' Union's building. You’ll be available to work up to 18 hours a week during University term time (usually 8-12 hours a week) across Mon-Sat, primarily daytimes during the week in line with our trading patterns. Use of AI in applications
