The Role

The award-winning Sheffield Students’ Union/Facilities Department are looking for four part-time casual cleaners. 

These are challenging roles requiring hard-working, fast paced, reliable team workers with a desire to produce a high standard of work.  The majority of the work is carried out in licensed bar areas, including toilets, where there is a requirement to clean up alcohol and bodily fluids from floors and other surfaces.

Experience is not essential, as full training will be given.

Salary: £9.80 per hour (£8.75 basic rate + £1.05 holiday entitlement)

Hours: 6 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday 6-9am. 32 weeks a year (Term Time)

Closing date: Wednesday 11th September 2019 at 12 noon.

Interviews: Monday 16th September 2019 9am-11am.

Start Date: Training Days on 19th and 20th September (7:30am - 9:30am) and Starting date 21/09/2019 from 6:30am.

*We are holding two open sessions on Tuesday 10th September 9:30am-10:30am and 10:30am-11:30am. These are for interested applicants to visit the SU and have a tour of the building. We will also allow you to apply on paper or online at this event with help from the People Development team*
