The role

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of kitchen assistants to deliver a high quality food service and outstanding customer experience. 

You will assist with planning menus and costing out food specifications.  You will also ensure that that all practices are adhering with hygiene and health and safety legislation. 

Although you will initially be based within Bar One, we are famous for our burgers, quizzes, sport and friendly staff!  

You will also work with and lead colleagues within our other food outlets as part of a wider team which may include occasional late night work.   

You will have experience in a busy kitchen environment, including staff supervision and working as part of a team. You will be able to motivate, lead and contribute to training a large team of casual staff to deliver high quality food products. 

You will have substantial experience in following food safety systems, and a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation. 

You will be an enthusiastic and lively person, who enjoys working in a flexible pattern, is able to work well under pressure, and genuinely has ambition to develop within the hospitality industry.

Salary:  £18,250-£20,552 based on experience 

Hours: 40 hours per week
